Winter Tracks

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

So after another year of gigs, tours, packed venues and great shows we are returning to the King Porter lab to re-channel all the energy and good vibes you lot have given us this year… amazing, really, thank you. I know it’s said a thousand times but we really mean it. We put our all into this, so, to see it connect and receive that energy back from you has really kept us going this year.
With the summer’s momentum behind us we are taking it back to our roots and back to the lab to bring you some winter phatness to see you through to the spring. We have some red hot Dubs melting the press as we speak, getting ready to hot step their way to you soon and here’s where you will find out about them first so keep a look out on the King Porter Stomp site. At the moment we are just in the process of laying down the drums on Breathless as well as two other tracks just waiting for horns and yours truly, so expect BIG singles coming your way in the new year.
After the last few years of touring and life’s unexpected juggles we have not had the chance to get into the studio as much as we would of liked too, to bring you that second album so…… 2011KPS is the year of the studio, which unfortunately means you might see us a little less on the road next year. Don’t worry we will still be rocking a few stages and have a few dates lined up in Holland so heads up on the mainland and keep your eyes posted on here for up-coming gig dates.
If the thought of not seeing us is to much to bear then fear not my stomping lovelies we got loads of videos up on this site, facebook and myspace and loads more on the way. The latest live vid is of the long awaited return of the Comm:unity night. If you were at the Komidea on the 19th or if ya missed it check it out and see what you’ve missed.
So as the temperature drops the fire crackles and the chestnuts roast, the beats loop the horns swell and the bass rumbles .
Bless Up
Jonezy
